Students trekking across campus in search of treats

If the campus seems a little more ghoulish today than usual, it may be because of students donning costumes to join the hunt for Halloween treats.

The “Treat Trail” event will send hordes of trick-or-treaters to more than 40 stops across the University.

Costumes aren’t required to participate, notes organizer Sandra Riccio-Muglia, director of events for the Student Centre: “But if you want to dress up, go for it. We love the spirit!”

Treat bags with a map list of participating departments are available for pick-up from the Student Centre starting at 9:30 a.m. A limited number of bags will be handed out at the Toldo Lancer Centre too.
