Bathing in sound promises a calming break for students

The student centre is hosting two sessions of a “Sound Bath healing experience” in the Alumni Auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 3.

“A sound bath is a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle — yet powerful — therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind and body,” says Sandra Riccio-Muglia, director of events for the student centre.

“It is relaxing and meditative. It may also promote spiritual well-being and ease anxiety.”

Students can choose to attend either 40-minute session, which begin at 2 and 6 p.m. No pre-registration is required.
