Week of activities dedicated to mental health

Lancers Care Week, Jan. 23 to 27, will offer a variety of free mental health training sessions, workshops, events, information booths, and a Student Support Services Fair.

“Our goal for Lancers Care Week is to advance the UWindsor Student Mental Health Strategy’s objective of fostering a caring, compassionate, and connected campus, while focusing attention directly on the UWindsor community throughout the week that surrounds Bell Let’s Talk Day,” explains Katie Chauvin, mental health and wellness co-ordinator. “The initiatives for the week were planned by a 40-member working group and prioritize campus well-being, mental health education, skill-building, and connection.”
