Planned Firewall Maintenance, Thursday, Nov 24, 7 to 8 a.m.

IT Services will be performing maintenance on the campus firewalls, Thursday, November 24, from 7 to 8 a.m. During this time, some users may be unable to access certain applications or servers.    If you have difficulties with an application and server after 8 a.m., please contact the IT Service Desk after it opens at 8:30 a.m. by calling 519-253-3000 ext. 4440, or using the live chat feature found in the bottom right corner of uwindsor.ca/its, or uwindsor.ca/itshelp, or opening the appropriate support ticket.  

Firewall maintenance Friday Nov 18 7am-8am

IT Services will be performing maintenance on the campus firewalls Friday November 18 from 7:00am to 8:00am. During this time, some users may be unable to connect to specific applications or servers.

If there are still applications or servers unavailable after 8:00am, please contact the IT Service Desk.

Planned Campus Maintenance Outage - Sunday, Nov 6, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The planned campus wide outage will cause the wireless network to be inaccessible Sunday, Nov 6, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

In addition to the internet disruption, all UWindsor systems will be off-line during the same period, including:  

  • UWinsite Student
  • Blackboard
  • MyUWinfo

You may have to restart or log in again on various platforms when the service resumes. 

If you have difficulties accessing the internet on campus after the outage, please contact the IT Service Desk by calling 519-253-3000 ext. 4440. The IT Service Desk is open until 4 p.m. for live chat and will be responding to tickets until 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Then open again at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
