McKeever’s former student, Brianna DeSantis, established the event in 2013 following her teacher’s passing due to cancer in October 2012.

International students to get financial relief through new scholarships and experiential learning opportunities

The University of Windsor announced Wednesday the additional investment of $700,000 into three scholarships and experiential learning programs designed to relieve some of the financial strain experienced by international students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This total investment into incremental financial support for international students in 2020 now exceeds $1.2 million.

Nick Hector faced a daunting challenge.

How do you take more than 500 terabytes of raw video footage and edit a documentary that honours the director’s legacy while holding true to his artistic vision?

“Rob Stewart was just so earnest and genuine and there was no artifice about him wanting to change the world,” Hector said, a University of Windsor assistant professor.
