The Office of Human Rights, Equity and Accessibility (OHREA) invites you to the annual Accessibility Awareness Days 2023 (AAD) event! Each week, participants will gain knowledge and practical skills to help create a more inclusive campus community. The first 3 weeks will consist of a 30-minute, virtual workshop. The final week will be the first AAD in-person event since 2019! Join in celebrating disability rights with a fireside chat featuring Dr. Laverne Jacobs and learning about her election to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Office of Human Rights, Accessibility and Equity website has many resources for accessiblity and accommodation including accessibility training, accommodation and information on how to create accessible documents.
The OHREA office also organizes Accessibility Awareness Days on main campus each year. This event hosts many speakers who speak about disabilities and accessibility awareness. Dr. Jijian Voronka, Co-ordinator of the Disability Studies program was a presenter with Iseonna Silliker at last year's event.
