The IN/TERMINUS Research Group hosted Stories of the City in November 2015, a tremendously successful two-part exhibition/event that drew together students, alumni, faculty and guest artists from Windsor-Detroit and other cities as far away as Vancouver, BC and Paris, France.
In October 2015, we hosted a visit from German artist-researchers, Folke Köbberling and Nils-Arne Kassens who led a bus tour of Detroit area urban interventions culminating in a visit to the Michigan Urban Farming Initiative in Detroit's North End.
The Art Gallery of Windsor's major publication Border Cultures by Srimoyee Mitra, took place in November 2015. The three-year project included significant research contributions from IN/TERMINUS Co-Directors, Michael Darroch and Lee Rodney.
Lee Rodney will see the publication of her book, Looking Beyond Borderlines: North America's Frontier Imagination this Fall. It will be published by Routledge's Advances in Visual Studies series.
Additionally, her project website, The Frontier Files is now launched and includes a large digital archive from the documents, photographs and historical ephemera from the collection of the Border Bookmobile.
