- Full-time and part-time permanent employees.
- Team of two or more permanent employees and/or departmental health and safety committees.
Essential Criteria
The individual/team:
- Has demonstrated their commitment to health and safety in the workplace. This commitment goes beyond the requirements of their role, is proactive and preventative.
- Works toward the continuous improvement of health and safety at the University. For instance, has taken specific actions to prevent injuries, occupational illnesses and/or unsafe conditions/practices.
- Promotes a work environment that is respectful, collegial and supportive

- Has developed, revised and/or applied a system, tool, process, initiative and/or program that resulted in one or more of the following: enhanced service delivery, increased efficiencies, supported sustainability efforts, enhanced the work environment or the student experience, decreased organizational risks, and/or supported the campus beautification efforts.
- Has had a positive impact on the department/University.
- Promotes a work environment that is respectful, collegial and supportive.

- Has demonstrated one of the following: performed a special act of kindness or service that has had a positive impact on others (i.e. students, colleagues, the community); made a positive impact through a campus “call to action” activity designed to address the needs of individuals, families and/or the community; and/or improved the morale of others through their actions. Their efforts and contributions have been beyond their job responsibilities.
- Has demonstrated sincere cooperation, a positive attitude and an exceptional willingness to assist others.
- Promotes a work environment that is respectful, collegial and supportive.

This award recognizes individuals who continuously demonstrate that they are UWindsor Proud and/or are excellent ambassadors of the University in the community.

Full-time and part-time permanent employees.
Essential Criteria
The individual:
- Has demonstrated one of the following: actively supported and promoted the University to others, been a Windsor Proud role model (inspiring, motivating and communicating with others), enhanced the image of the University through interactions with others; and/or acted as an ambassador for UWindsor as a great place to work, learn and grow. Their efforts and contributions have been beyond their regular job duties.
