FAQ: I am asked to take a social science credit. What counts as a social science credit?

For most FAHSS programs, students are required to take at least two social sciences credits. Disciplines that would count as a social science would be:  

  • General Social Science (SOSC) 
  • Disability Studies (DISB)
  • History (HIST)
  • Political Science (POLS) 
  • Psychology (PSYC) 
  • Social Work (SWRK)
  • Sociology, Anthropology and Criminology (SACR)
  • Women's and Gender Studies (WGST) 
  • Work and Employment Issues (WORK)
