PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Coordinator, Annual Giving Program (CAGP) designs, implements and evaluates the effectiveness of donation requests whose purpose is to raise funds for the University. The Coordinator creates, implements and in consultation with the Director of Advancement, evaluates a comprehensive annual plan to increase strategic solicitation of financial support from alumni, friends, parents, faculty, staff, administration and retirees.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative skills and statistical analysis
  • Three years of experience in fundraising, preferably within Annual Giving
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and a variety of demands
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in interviewing, overseeing, training and coordinating the work of others
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision or as part of a team
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office environment
  • Experience using fundraising software such as Raiser’s Edge or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and methods to ensure requirements are met
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations such as FIPPA and CASL.
Rate of Pay: 
Classification "VII" per Schedule A of the Collective Agreement
