Resolved: DDoS attack caused connections to drop (2:09-2:20pm)

At approximately 2:09pm the University firewalls were hit by a Distiributed Denial of Service attack that led to connections being dropped.

This affected VPN connections and may have also affected other applications such as Blackboard Collaborate.

Service appears to be back to normal and the attack has stopped. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Service Desk at ext. 4440.
