Dr. Sara Scharoun Benson joined the faculty in July 2017. Prior to joining the University of Windsor, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Nipissing University.  
Dr. Scharoun Benson’s research interests lie in motor behaviour. Her program of research focuses on two specific objectives which aim to understand: (1) cognitive and sensorimotor factors influencing upper-limb movement control, and (2) contributions of movement to functioning in everyday life settings, such as physical activity. Her research focuses on understanding similarities and differences across the human lifespan in typical development and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
