The Department of Kinesiology in the Faculty of Human Kinetics uses high-impact practices which is an enriching educational experience that can be life-changing and often includes learning outside of the classroom while encouraging meaningful interaction and collaboration. It is an unique faculty where the integration of Kinesiology and Athletics/Recreation allows for more opportunities to get involved.

KinOne First Year Experience Program

All first-year students are assigned to a small Kin One leadership group, which are led by an upper year HK student as a guide through first year and beyond. The KinOne program helps first-year students transition to university by providing a instant network of peer support.
