Students participating in Aqua fitness at Toldo Lancer Centre

Pool

One of the highlights of the sports and recreation centre is the new, modern pool - the largest public space in the building. The 8-lane, 25-metre pool, shipped from Italy and engineered by Myrtha Pools, is often used for the Olympic Games and FINA World Championships. Its stainless steel and highest quality finishes, fit the unique angles of the space allowing for exact measurements and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 45 percent.

Throughout the aquatic interior, visitors will notice an abundance of light-tone greys, yellows and natural light to enhance a welcoming environment for a wide variety of activities including recreational swims, fitness classes and training. In partnership with the City of Windsor, community programming will be available. Whether you are registering for a recreation swim, attending an aquafit class, learning how to swim or taking advantage of lane swim opportunities for elite and fitness training, the new Lancer Centre Pool. Designed to support a variety of programs for all ages and fitness levels, accessibility and inclusivity became top priorities.
