  • UW Student Use - UWindsor students, your UWin ID card is also your Toldo Lancer Centre membership card, giving you FREE access to facility amenities, including:

    • Fitness Centre (weight and cardio training space) 

    • LancerFit Group Fitness Classes

    • Aqua Fitneess Instructional Classes

    • Fit + Lane Swim

    • Drop-In Gymnasia Open Recreation 

    • Drop-In Open Swim

  • Staff and Faculty Use – For memberships please visit, Lancer Athletics.

  • Alumni: UWindsor Alumnus are entitled to a 15% discount on a full-facility membership to the Toldo Centre. To qualify for the UWindsor alumni rate, the alumni must present their UWindsor Alumni Card, prior to purchasing a membership. The UWindsor Alumni Card is free for alumni and can be requested through the Alumni Association.

The Forge Fitness Centre will remain an integral component to our operations at Athletics and Recreation Services. At this current time, all UWindsor student and full-facility community/alumni/employee memberships include access to the Forge Fitness Centre.

Students, staff, faculty and community members are encouraged to view the Toldo Lancer Centre offerings through the Lancer Recreation website. For membership rates, please visit Lancer Athletics. For a direct link to fitness classes, download the Lancer Athletics & Recreation app and tap the 'Lancer Recreation Program and Classes' tile.

The previous St. Denis Centre is now a part of the renewed set of priorities and purpose of the Toldo Lancer Centre. The St. Denis Centre was built in 1981 in honour of Assumption College’s longest-serving president, Reverend Denis O’Connor of the Congregation of St. Basil. It has been the home for athletics and recreation, the hub of student activity and community gatherings memories for decades. Joining the new building with the existing, the Toldo Lancer Centre will be a beacon of campus and community pride bonding generations from the past to the future.

The Fieldhouse will remain an integral component to our operations at Athletics and Recreation Services. The indoor track, wood courts and Mondo surface will still be used for various varsity, intramural and fitness events.

The large multi-purpose room (MPR) weent through a quick renovation Fall 2022. Renovations included new paint, refurbished ceiling and revamped flooring. The MPR is equipped with a robust complement of strength and cardio training equipment, and also provides a space for larger classes such as dance and yoga.

The Lancer Centre will adjoin to the former St. Denis Centre. The relocated main entrance will serve as the only entry point to the Lancer Centre to better serve our visitors and to enhance the customer experience.

Yes, the pool and fitness centre will be open during varsity games.  

Lancer Commons is an open access hub of student engagement where people can meet after a workout, enjoy a snack or beverage for a study break or simply use the space to complete academic work related to their studies. 

Hours of operation will mimic those of the building. 

Day passes are available for purchase if UWindsor students want to share the Toldo Lancer experience with their guests.  

As a member of the UWindsor alumni family, you have access to many on-campus privileges! With the UWindsor Alumni Card, Lancer alumni can take advantage of exclusive on and off campus privileges, including the new Toldo Lancer Centre. The UWindsor Alumni Card is free for alumni.
