Lloyd Dean Moot

Saturday, March 6, 2021 - 10:00

Organized by the Black Law Students’ Association at Windsor Law, the Lloyd Dean Moot is a free entry-level oral advocacy competition for undergraduate students interested in law. By participating in the Lloyd Dean Moot, students can compete in a beginner-friendly tournament, gain introductory lawyering skills, and network with law students, law professors, legal practitioners and sitting justices.

Mooting is a competition that requires you to read a hypothetical scenario, research the legal issues, write legal arguments and present them before a panel of judges who will interrupt you with questions which you must defend.
