Join the Disability Student Law Society for Academic Ableism in Higher Education: A Lecture with Dr. Jay Dolmage, where we will explore the ableist and exclusionary attitudes, policies, and practices that have historically been built into higher education & their continued effects on students and faculty members with disabilities.

University of Waterloo English professor, Dr. Jay Dolmage, is an expert in Disability Studies and author of three books, Disability Rhetoric, Academic Ableism, and Disabled Upon Arrival. He is also the founding editor of the Canadian Journal of Disability Studies, which is an open-access journal.

A facilitated Q&A session will follow the hour-long lecture.
