University Jazz Ensemble

The University of Windsor Jazz Ensemble MUSP-2400 is comprised of university and general community instrumentalists and vocalists who perform several styles such as swing, rock, blues and pop. This Ensemble has performed in many diverse venues including the Birmingham and Monroe Jazz Festivals, various community fundraisers, University events, school concerts and our School of Music series performances. In the summer, this ensemble was featured at the Boblo Jazz Festival.

The Jazz Ensemble rehearse twice weekly on Monday and Wednesday evenings, 4:30 - 6:20 PM in the SoCA Armouries, Rehearsal Hall, room AM B22

Scheduled Performances:

Fall Semester: at the end of November in the Capitol Theatre's Pentastar Theatre

Winter Semester: two performances near end of semester -- a concert and a Cabaret Concert complete with dance floor and cash bar.
