Attention Singers and Pedagogues
Join us for the University of Windsor's annual Intensive Studies in Voice Performance Program. The program will run the week of May 15-19, 2017.
It will culminate in an evening performance on the evening of May 19th or the afternoon/evening of May 20th. Lesson times will be flexible in order to accommodate work and school schedules.
Singers:
There are no age or vocal development requirements, and repertoire can be absolutely anything—jazz, musical theatre, art song, opera, oratorio, pop etc. Ya just gotta love to sing! Open to singers interested in advancing their performance and/or pedagogical skills. Study as much or as little repertoire as you like (from two to ten pieces total).
Any genre of music is welcome.
Fee for Singers:
$275.00/person (plus $15 administration fee) during early registration; and $300.00 + $15 admin. fee for late registration.
This fee structure includes the following:
- free admission to a faculty run concert at the start of the week;
- one 10 minute technique lesson per day for a total of five days;
- one half hour (30 minute) repertoire lesson per day for five days;
- one 15 minute masterclass performance per day for five days (plus attendance as audience at each class) ;
- all accompaniment (Yvonne Quinn is our collaborative studio pianist) for repertoire and masterclass sessions, as well as the final recital;
- final recital program
