The MUSP-2100 University Wind Ensemble is an auditioned group of approximately 35 members, comprised of woodwinds, brass and percussion.

The membership is auditioned every semester, and the group functions in the one-on-a-part Wind Ensemble tradition. The Wind Ensemble is open by audition to all students, not just music majors.

The group usually performs two large end-of-semester concerts. The Wind Ensemble has been invited to perform at music festivals in the region and has also played in many high schools and churches in Southern Ontario.

We rehearse twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the SoCA Armouries, Rehearsal Hall, AM B22.

Musicians interested in auditioning for the Wind Ensemble should contact Dr. Nicholas Papador.
