9:30 – 10:00 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS – TRANSITIONING TO UNIVERSITY & CANADA: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

As a new undergraduate international student, this session will provide you with information about making a successful transition to University. You will learn about immigration and study permits, requirements for working in Canada and your mandatory health insurance. You’ll also learn more about how to get involved in your new UWindsor community.

10:00 – 10:30 UNIVERSITY 101 PROGRAM

Learn about the differences between high school and university and what it takes to be a successful student on our campus. 

10:30 – 11:00 QUICK TIME-TABLING TIPS

If you haven’t already registered for courses, or if you have any questions pertaining to your course registration, you should attend this session. By meeting with Academic Advisors, you will receive the information that you require to complete your registration.

Do you want to get a sense of what campus looks like? No idea where your buildings are? You’ve come to the right place! Come check out our virtual campus tour lead by one of our Student Ambassadors, and get your questions answered! Tours will be offered at the start of each hour for 30 minutes then followed by a 30 minute Q & A.
