I took a voluntary early retirement package effective September 1, 2001, and waved goodbye to my colleagues of the Psychology Department at the University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

I remain affiliated with the department and the University as an associate professor emeritus. My recent activities have centered around visiting archaeological sites and participating in conferences. My main interest focuses on origins of various kinds, but mainly on human origins and dispersals relevant to a better understanding of human identity in the context of technological change and globalization.
