When your project is set up, you will receive notification of an account number from Research Finance.
There could be various reasons why a project/grant has not been set up even though you have received notification of award from an agency. Some of the reasons are:
- ORIS has no record of your project; if so, please submit a new ERSO file
- Required certifications, clearances or other approvals have not been received
- The agency has not released or has put a hold on the funding
- The start date is future-dated and cannot be activated until that date.
