Room assignments for Winter 2024 have now been completed. Students who apply now will be automatically added to our waitlist and contacted if a room space becomes available for them.
Before Starting the Application Process...
- Confirm your offer of admission.
- Make sure you have extended your Uwin Account. For instructions, click here at Extending UWin Account (teamdynamix.com). (Be sure to type in 'uwinid@uwindsor.ca', not just 'uwinid'.)
- New UWinIDs are uploaded into the University system in the early morning, so you may need to wait 24 hours, or until the next day, to go back into the application.

Completing the application - Confirm and Submit
To submit your Winter 2024 residence application, you will need to click `Confirm and Submit' button
- For the Winter 2024 residence application, students will not be able to select a building preference in winter, as room assignments are based on availability
- Residence deposit of $475 is required at time of application, and is payable by credit card only
- Once you have received a room assignment, you will then be able to select your meal plan and optional textbook plan

Cancellation Information – Winter 2024
Undergraduate – 1st year coming directly from high school
- First Year students coming directly from high school will be assigned to a single room or a double room
- The Residence deposit of $475 is required at time of application and payable by credit card only. Residence Deposits appear on the student’s UWinsite student account as a credit.
- Our Cancellation policy can be viewed at Cancellations/Withdrawals
Buildings available to First Year students coming directly from high school
- Alumni Hall - Single room in a two-bedroom suite
- Cartier Hall - double bedroom
- Laurier Hall - double bedroom

Beyond First Year Students
- This category includes Returning residence students, Graduate, Transfer, Exchange and 2nd year students or higher
- Beyond First Year students will be assigned to a single room.
- The Residence deposit of $475 is required at time of application and payable by credit card only. Residence Deposits appear on the student’s UWinsite student account as a credit.
- Our Cancellation policy can be viewed at Cancellations/Withdrawals

- Alumni Hall - Single bedroom in a two-bedroom suite
