We want to hear how you are encouraging others to do their part to K.O. COVID by getting the COVID vaccine.

Prize draws valued at $500 - Get in the Ring, #TakeAJab, and #KOCOVID

Did you #TakeaJab and get the COVID vaccination? Tell us about it and share how we are coming together as a community to #KOCOVID and you could win one of 24 $500 UWindsor tuition vouchers or one of 24 $500 Amazon e-cards. Four (4) prizes will be awarded each week. To enter:

  • Use this form to submit a #TakeaJab campaign supportive photo, or a video of 60 seconds or less, or provide a brief sentence that explains why you chose to get the COVID vaccine;
  • Or post on your own social pages, tag @Uwindsor, and use hashtags #TakeaJabUWindsor #KOCOVID.

Your posts or submissions may be shared on @uwindsor social pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn.

Participants are limited to one (1) entry for a chance to win of one of 24 prizes valued at $500 during the contest period, and may be randomly selected only once during the contest period.

All qualified entrants throughout the contest period will be automatically entered for a chance to win one (1) grand prize valued at up to $3,000. The winner may choose one of four available grand prizes:

  • Apple iPad Air
  • or Apple MacBook
  • or Microsoft Surface
  • or $3,000 tuition voucher

The winner will be selected at 1 p.m. ET on September 17, 2021, and announced on @uwindsor Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn no later than 12 a.m. ET on September 24, 2021.

  1. Participants will receive one (1) entry for every social interaction including a “like” and/or comment on any @uwindsor social media post on Facebook or Instagram with the #TakeaJabUWindsor or #KOCOVID hashtags.   2. eligibility iconParticipants will be randomly selected each draw date. Winners must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Contest participation is limited to full-time or part-time University of Windsor students registered for the fall 2021 term or to University of Windsor employees. Winners must show proof upon request to claim prizes.
  2. Participants will be randomly selected only once for one of 30 #TakeaJabUwindsor T-shirts and $10 Tim Horton’s gift cards.
  3. Participants are eligible only once to receive a weekly swag prize and once for a weekly $500 valued prize. Should an entrant be randomly selected more than once, another winner will be chosen.
  4. Randomly selected entrants will be contacted through their social media accounts within 24 hours of the draw date. Winners will have 30 days from the draw date to claim and pick up their prize.
  5. Prizes will be delivered by mail or may be picked up on the University of Windsor main campus.
  6. By participating in this contest, all entrants agree to be bound by these Rules & Restrictions and agree that the University of Windsor may terminate the contest at any time without prior notice or change the Rules & Restrictions applying thereto.
  7. This contest is restricted to Canadian residents (excluding residents of Quebec) and is governed by Canadian and Ontario contest rules and regulations.
  8. Winners must complete a skill-testing question to claim their prize.
  9. Winning entrants must provide official proof of at least one COVID-19 vaccination administered in Canada.
  10. Prizes unclaimed by September 24, 2021, will be redrawn until a winning entrant fulfills all eligibility requirements.
  11. Contest entrants agree that the University of Windsor shall be permitted to publish the name of the prize winner(s) and to use their images and names for Take A Jab campaign use.
