Abstract:

This thesis proposes a new meta-heuristic optimization multi-population algorithm based on Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) for multi-objective problems. Our proposed algorithm introduces a parallel and co-operative multi-population structure which resembles the hierarchy in grey wolves. The populations are divided based on their fitness scores and are evolved using a modified version of GWO. We introduce a mutation operator and an elite group to further improve the convergence and diversity of the algorithm. The proposed model is initially tested for single-objective problems. The proposed algorithm in this thesis is benchmarked on CEC 2009 test suite for bi-objective problems.
