Abstract:
Real-world physical shopping compromises customers the advantage of maintaining their privacy by giving them the possibility of using cash and thus offering no personal information such as their names and home addresses. On the opposing, electronic shopping commands the use of all kinds of personally identifiable information for both billing and shipping drives. Blockchain is a powerful technology, and the Blockchain based cryptocurrencies have stimulated private billing growth by enabling anonymous (pseudonymous) payments. Also, building a highly trustworthy, credible, and decentralized proof of delivery system to trace and track physical items and the privacy preserved delivery of the purchased physical goods is still an open and challenging research problem. The last line of delivery (delivering to the client) is always the most important part of physical asset delivery, which can cause some privacy concerns. In this work, we will propose a method that can eliminate some portion of security concerns by preserving the privacy of personal information printed on packages such as full name, email address, phone number, and address.
