Welcome new and returning students. Although the coronavirus pandemic will mean that your experience in the Winter semester may be different to that of normal semesters, we still aim to provide a high-quality learning experience.

COVID-19 Information - Course delivery

The University of Windsor has made the decision that course delivery in the Winter 2022 semester will be offered in one of four ways: Face-to-face, Hybrid, Hy-Flex and Online. Please visit the University of Windsor's Return to Campus for Students webpage for details on how each of the course delivery types work and further information about registration. Further information about individual courses will come directly from the professors teaching your courses. Registration information for new and returning students

The University has put together several resources to help new and returning students with their registration of courses.

  • future.uwindsor.ca/next-steps: is a tailored, mobile-friendly web experience that walks new students through the actions they need to complete before their UWindsor student career begins. It includes information on choosing first year courses based on program as well as how to contact and academic advisor.
  • How to register video series: shows students how to register for classes in UWinsite Student.

Program Advisors

We have program-specific advisors available to help you select your courses for registration, sort out degree requirements, etc. First year students are highly encouraged to contact their advisor to ensure the courses they select for their first year puts them on the right path for their academic career. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the best way to get in contact with the advisors is through email. Please contact the advisor in charge of your program:
