Keynote Address
Dr. Lokman Sung
Forensic Pathologist
Dr. Lokman Sung delivered the Keynote Address at the TIFS Conference of 2019. He is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed Pathology residency at William Beaumont Hospital. Upon finishing the Forensic Pathology fellowship at the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office, he joined the office as an Assistant Medical Examiner. Through a collaborative partnership with the University of Michigan and Wayne County, his duties have expanded as an Assistant Professor for the University. Through years at the office, he has instructed professionals in multiple fields of medicine and have worked closely with Dr. Peter Frade and Professor Mendes-Kramer in training Pathologists’ Assistant students. His research interests also involve firearm injuries and asphyxia.
