Biography
ELIZABETH A. DONNELLY is an Associate Professor of Social Work.
Prior to pursuing a PhD, Dr. Donnelly spent several years practicing at a community hospital on a crisis stabilization unit for those struggling with mental illness and chemical dependence. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Minnesota.

Specifically, her research is focused on understanding the impact of different types of work-related stress on paramedics, including the factors that contribute to the development of operational stress injuries (OSIs) and best practices to ameliorate that stress. Dr. Donnelly is also interested in research and curriculum development to enhance first responders training on how to treat patients in behavioural emergencies.
Dr. Donnelly has a been certified as an NREMT since 1999 and has worked with EMS services in Minnesota, Florida, and Michigan.
