Amount: $5,000
Eligibility:

  • must be a Canadian citizen
  • at least a 65% overall GPA
  • involved in community service

Kin Canada Bursaries

Deadline: February 1
Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:

  • must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
  • must be completing high school, or enrolled in post-secondary study
  • rewards community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada, and financial need

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership

Deadline: November 13
Amount: Up to $70,000
Eligibility:

  • must be in your last year of high school
  • must have demonstrated leadership in improving your community

The FutureLearn Scholarship

Deadline: November 30
Amount: £4,000 of free courses
Eligibility:  

  • must be between 16 and 18 years old
  • must submit 300 word personal statement (See website for details)

Nelson Civic Leadership Scholarship

Deadline: June 1
Amount: Three awards of $5,000
Eligibility:

  • strong record of community service
  • strong academic record
  • scholarship recipients must show proof of tuition payment to a Canadian university or college
