This hybrid workshop covers some of the most common writing issues that appear in academic writing and details some of the informal and ambiguous language that you should avoid. Topics covered will include
- run-on sentences,
- the differences between relative/nonessential and restrictive/essential elements,
- qualifiers, and
- value judgements.
