The Office of the Vice-President, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion is excited to collaborate with Continuing Education, supported by The Black Council of Windsor-Essex, to deliver this highly important 18-hour course, The Fundamentals of Race and Anti-Black Racism. Instructed by our very own Kaitlyn Ellsworth, the course will focus on issues related to race and its origins, anti-Black Racism, and the construct of whiteness. Participants will explore their own relationships to power, privilege, oppression to enhance their awareness within their personal and professional interactions. This course is geared towards individuals who seek a diverse and inclusive community. Classes are online and start on February 24.
