About the Forum

On May 9, 2023, the Office of the Senior Advisor to the President on Indigenous Relations and Outreach and the Vice-President, Research and Innovation will co-host the first University of Windsor Indigenous Research and Scholarship Forum. This full-day, hybrid conference aims to educate our campus community on Indigenous research, scholarship, and methodologies.

The forum will feature keynote addresses by Mi'kmaq Elder, Albert Marshall, Dr. Kathleen Absolon (Anishinaabe kwe), and Dr. Marie Battiste (Mi'kmaq) along with presentations by University of Windsor Indigenous faculty, staff, and students.
