Transgender Day of Remembrance 2019

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honours the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.

Speaker Kael Sharman is a Women’s and Gender Studies, University of Windsor graduate.  Post-graduation, he has participated in the University and Windsor feminist communities by mediating transgender groups at Windsor Pride, fundraising for Windsor Pride and Windsor Gender and Sexuality Alliances (GSAs), presenting at the University of Windsor’s Social Justice Forum, speaking in Women’s and Gender Studies classes, and by providing support and mentorship to students.
