-
Summer shut room renovations include complete caulking and paint upgrades, 5 year plan.
-
Mattresses are rated annually and replaced with new mattresses and bug prevention covers.
-
Room turnovers- housekeeping inspection records are kept for every room turnover, that includes bed bug check of mattresses, linens, flooring and furniture. All rooms are disinfected and thoroughly cleaned.
Corrective Action if Found:
-
A maintenance work order system is in place to document all resident work order requests- example- report of bedbugs- resident would document the concern and maintenance would follow up with same day/next day service call.
-
Call professional pest control company and follow their guidance.
-
If a student required relocation during corrective action, the Residence Admissions coordinator would work with professionals to deal with students' belongings and temporary re-location matters- a vacant room if possible.
