Alumnus wins free tickets to watch national women’s basketball quarter-final

UWindsor grad Rolf Keller won Tuesday’s DailyNews quiz contest and the prize of a pair of tickets to see the Lancer women’s basketball team begin its title defence during the quarter-finals of the Bronze Baby tournament, March 14 at the St. Denis Centre.

Keller’s entry was selected at random from all those which correctly identified these standout performances in Saturday’s OUA West division championship game:

  • Jessica Clemençon notched 14 points and 10 rebounds for the game’s only double-double.
  • Tessa Kreiger went a perfect 2-2 from the free throw line.
  • Miah-Marie Langlois led all scorers with 24 points.
  • Cheyanne Roger came off the bench to shoot 10-for-10 and finish with 20 points.
  • Korissa Williams scored 22 points and tied for the game lead with four offensive boards.
