Legal protection of software rights subject of seminar

Have you ever wondered how to legally protect a line of code, an app or an interface? A campus session Tuesday will discuss these issues and how they apply to our techcentric world.

Attorney Jenna Wilson of the law firm Wilson Lue LLP, with 17 years’ experience in intellectual property law, will lead “Copyright or Patent? How to Protect My Software,” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. January 24 in the Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) on the second floor of the Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre.

The session will focus on patent and copyright law with particular attention to computer software and applications. Admission is free; register on the event page on the EPICentre website.
