Joseph T. Culliton Award in the Humanities
This award is to honour the memory of Joseph T. Culliton CSB, former faculty member, Dean of Arts, and staunch advocate of the humanities during a long career of teaching and counselling students.
Eligibility:
- full-time undergraduate students in third or fourth year
- minimum B+ average (9.5)
- major or joint major in History, English, Philosophy, Classics, Modern Languages, Music, Visual Arts, Dramatic Art
Requirements:
- an essay (1000 words) discussing the importance of the humanities and the liberal arts education in our changing world
- demonstrated financial need
