Give yourself a treat this Saturday afternoon – come out to a free concert by Trio Abelia which consists of oboist Geralyn Giovannetti, hornist Denise Root Pierce and University of Windsor Professor Emeritus David Palmer, piano.
 
Geralyn Giovannetti taught at UWindsor’s School of Music in the late 80's before moving on to Brigham Young University in Utah, where she now teaches.
 
Denise Root Pierce teaches at Eastern Michigan University, and does occasional playing for the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.
 
“This trio has been together since 2010,” says David Palmer. “We get together a couple of times a year to play--and have fun!”
