Music Audition Workshop

Your audition is the first step toward success in any music program!

At the Audition Workshop you will learn:

• What schools of music are looking for in students;
• How to prepare for the audition and for music study;
• Meet faculty and current students who are happy to answer your questions;
• Get some experience. Do a mock audition and have an informal interview with faculty. You may play or just be interviewed; one piece, 3-5 minutes, is appropriate.
• Snacks and campus tour available

1:00 pm      Mock audition rehearsals and warm-ups begin
                   For those performing a mock audition
 

2:00 - 4:30  Informal interviews and mock auditions

Each participant will be scheduled to meet privately and informally with a faculty member. You may play or just be interviewed; one piece, 3-5 minutes, is appropriate.
