OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
University of Windsor Blue Jays Alumni Ticket Giveaway
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
1. CONTEST
1.1 The University of Windsor (the “University”) is the sponsor of the University of Windsor Blue Jays Alumni Ticket Giveaway (the “Contest”).
1.2 This Contest begins August 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends September 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).
2. ELIGIBILITY AND HOW TO ENTER
2.1 No purchase necessary. Limit one (1) entry per person. The Contest is open to all alumni of the University of Windsor who are legal residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry. For the purposes of these Official Contest Rules, an “alumni” means any individual who has graduated from a University of Windsor degree program, or is otherwise recognized by the University of Windsor as a member of its alumni community, and is in good standing with the University of Windsor (each, an “Entrant”).
2.2 To receive one (1) Contest entry, an eligible Entrant must be subscribed to the University of Windsor Alumni Newsletter and opt in to all University of Windsor communications before the end of the Contest Period. Eligible alumni may subscribe during the Contest Period by completing the form at https://www.uwindsor.ca/alumni/update and selecting the Alumni Newsletter subscription option. Eligible alumni who are already subscribed before the end of the Contest Period will be automatically entered.
2.3 Only one (1) Contest entry will be issued to each eligible Entrant, regardless of the number of degrees or number of times the Entrant has graduated from the University of Windsor, or whether the University’s records contain duplicate contact information, accounts or submissions for that person. An Entrant who is not subscribed to the Alumni Newsletter after the end of the Contest Period is not eligible to receive an entry.
2.4 The University may verify an Entrant’s identity, graduation from a University of Windsor degree program, and standing with the University. Entries that cannot be verified or that do not comply with these Official Contest Rules and Regulations are void.
2.5 Entrants agree that the University may publish the name of the confirmed prize winner.
3. HOW TO WIN
3.1 Three (3) potential winners, one winner for each prize, will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on September 7, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.
3.2 The potential winners will be notified using the email address associated with their Alumni Newsletter subscription. The potential winner must respond within twenty-four (24) hours after the notification is sent and follow the prize-claim instructions in that notification. If the potential winner does not respond within that notification period, cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, does not comply with these Contest Rules or otherwise fails to claim the prize as directed, the potential winner will forfeit the prize and the University may select an alternate potential winner by random draw from the remaining eligible entries.
3.3 As a condition of being declared a winner, the selected Entrants must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the University of Windsor Office of Alumni Relations or its designate and may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility and release.
3.4 Limit of one (1) prize per person. Entrants who have been selected as a winner are not eligible to receive any additional prizes in connection with this Contest.
