On Saturday, October 17th, 2009, universities across Ontario will host the 5th annual Go Engineering Girl Event for young women in Grades 7 through 10 and their parents to showcase the wide range of exciting and lucrative careers in engineering.
So, please join us for Go Engineering Girl!
- Your morning will begin with coffee, registration and a presentation for everyone before the girls go to the Center for Automotive Research and Education (CARE) for hands-on activities.
- We will have new activities for Go Engineering Girl this year - watch this website for updates!
- After the panel discussion, parents will join their daughters at CARE where they can meet engineering students and view their projects.
- Lunch will be provided for everyone.

- There is no cost to attend!

The University of Windsor’s Toldo Health Education and Learning Centre in Room 203

Parking:
Parking is available at any pay and display lot around the University at $2.00 per entry. Lot L is the most conveniently located parking lot related to this event. For locations please view the campus map.
Things to Remember:
- You will need to submit a signed Permission Slip by a parent/ guardian when you check-in on October 17th.
- Don’t forget to dress appropriately for the weather during our tour of the engineering facilities.
- You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the University.
- Feel free to bring a friend, even if your parents/guardians can’t attend
- If you have food allergies, please let us know prior to the event
