Visitors: How to Use the Site

Welcome to the University of Windsor's Faculty of Engineering Website!  If you're new to the site this page is right where you need to be.  Here's a quick explanation of our website to help you navigate more effectively and find what you're looking for.

From the left navigation menu:

  • Engineering Homepage:  Use this anytime to return to the Engineering homepage.
  • About the Faculty: This menu item contains a message from the faculty, a list of all faculty and staff members as well as their contact information, some quick introductory facts about engineering at the UoW and our plan for the future.
  • Academic Programs: Contains information for prospective students and students in first year (through the WINONE office) as well as students in second year and above.  This is also the place you should look if you have application concerns or issues with your studies.
  • Research Centers: Provides information about research partnerships, centers and projects in Engineering.
  • Engineering Outreach: Details our outreach program to young students in elementary school and high school.
  • Giving to Engineering: Is for any generous benefactors that are interested in supporting Engineering at the University of Windsor.
  • Engineering News: Links to current and past engineering stories where you can learn more about what's going on with the Faculty and what our students are doing as engineers.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Provides safety practices and procedures outlined in a helpful manual.  A must read for engineering students!
  • Forms: Lists some of the various forms you may need as a student during your academic career in engineering.
