Registration is now open for UWindsorPrep — a series of short online refresher classes in:
- advanced functions and problem solving,
- physics,
- biology,
- chemistry, and
- Microsoft Excel.
Offered through Continuing Education, the classes vary in duration from 15 to 40 hours and provide a quick review with some insight to first-year university classes, says executive director Jennie Atkins.
“These online classes are a great way for new Lancers to build confidence before classes begin in September by enhancing their existing knowledge in these areas and also by easing their transition to post-secondary education,” she says.
“This is ideal for students who want to improve their understanding of the topics, review specific concepts from grade 12 classes, or even for those mature or transfer students who have been out of the game for a while.”
The flexible schedule and open enrolment allow students to register for one, a few, or all five classes with no prerequisites.
Current UWindsor students as well as the children and dependents of alumni and staff are eligible for discounts on registration fees. Find details on the program website.
