Co-workers and friends are remembering Debbie Kelly as an “all-around good person” who never had a bad word to say about anyone. The long-time UWindsor employee died Thursday, April 5.
“She started in the kitchen in September 1987, and moved into an administrative position the following year to oversee the department’s payroll and student meal card accounts,” says department head Dave McEwen. “Debbie was hard-working, rarely missed a day off work and always had a smile on her face. She loved music, to garden, and to spend her summers in the Rockies, where her son, daughter, and grandchildren live.
“There is no doubt she will be badly missed by the many students, staff, and faculty whose lives she touched.”
Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 10. Find details in her obituary. Campus flags will be lowered in her memory Tuesday as well.
