The Department of Athletics and Recreational Services will host its annual awards banquet, the Windsor Lancers Evening of Excellence, on Tuesday, April 2, at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts.

Nominees for major awards include:

• Jaden Cherry from women’s hockey, Yaila Sealy from women’s volleyball, and Kat Campana from women’s soccer; and Darian Koskie from men’s volleyball, Jacob Fitzpatrick from cross country and track and field, and Ben Tilson from track and field for the DeMarco Awards, presented to the top female and male student-athletes who best combine academics and athletics;
• Mandy Brunet from track and field, Megan Lozinski from softball, and Kailyn Robertson from women’s soccer, for the Banner Shield as outstanding female athlete of the year; and
• Kolade Amusan from football, Frankie Facchineri from men’s soccer, and A.J. Stanat from track and field, for the Olympic Shield as outstanding male athlete of the year.
