Museum visit educates on African-Canadian history

Students, faculty, and staff of Windsor Law took the opportunity to learn about the history and contributions of African-Canadians by visiting the Amherstburg Freedom Museum on Feb. 13.

Founded in 1975, the museum tells the story of African- Canadians’ journey by preserving and presenting artifacts that educate and inspire.

Its exhibits relate historical and cultural value relating to Black heritage from its African origins to present day development in the Western Hemisphere, with an emphasis on southwestern Ontario.
