Campus cookbook volume 2Organizers are seeking recipes for the second edition of the Campus Community Cookbook.

Deadline nears for recipe submissions

Thursday, Aug. 24, is the deadline to submit a recipe to the second edition of the Campus Community Cookbook, a fundraiser to support activities on Orange Shirt Day.

“The cookbook did really well last year,” says Alicia Charlebois, student engagement assistant in the Turtle Island Aboriginal Education Centre and a member of the UWindsor Orange Shirt Day planning committee. “We had originally only ordered 75 copies, which sold out within the first few days from launch, and did an additional print run.”

The organizing committee has set a target of 50 recipes for this edition and is just over halfway there. Submissions do not have to be Indigenous dishes but are intended to showcase the cultural diversity of the campus community.
