The Windsor chapter of the Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG-Windsor) is sponsoring a raffle that it hopes will spread cheer throughout the kingdom—the animal kingdom, that is.

The student-funded group has partnered with the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society to sell tickets in the CAW Student Centre for its “Holiday Cheer All Year” raffle, Tuesday and Thursday, November 27 and 29.

Up for grabs are five gift cards for purchases at LCBO outlets. Tickets are three for $10, available from a table in the Commons area from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds support the shelter’s animal welfare programs.
